[PR] Biweekly? SAVE ME FROM HP AU

Aelius Lacemaker, a first generation wizard (if you don't count the the Lacemakers, a pureblood clan, with whom he is very distantly related a few generations up from a squib), sorted into Slytherin because boy does he have ambition. Likes to do muggle magic tricks because that's what he was brought up doing and it's kind funny doing them in a place with...well, real magic. He's a good student all-round and likes flying well enough but doesn't find Quidditch his cup of tea - "Too competitive." he says, as if he didn't spend most of his first year trying to show up his housemates.

(A valiant effort, but he spent almost as much time exploring the castle as he did studying; he found a few interesting places though, and believes it time well spent.) 

His best subjects are Charms and Potions and his electives would probably be Arithmancy, Divination and Alchemy - originally, he'd picked up Divination for fun but then he showed a strange aptitude for parts of it hahaha. Had taken Care of Magical Creatures before Alchemy and it was arguably his worst subject though he liked it well enough. Has not pets or familiars and doesn't seem interested in getting one though he does go up to the Owlery often to feed and make friends with the school owls despite how messy it gets sometimes - though with this kind of magic, can probably clean up without having to expend the same efforts as cleaning without, so he'd be more alright with it.
